Faculty receive NSF grant for multidisciplinary pandemic research
|
Six CAS faculty members from the departments of history, geography, mathematics, integrative biology and media were recently awarded a $500,000 National Science Foundation grant to conduct multidisciplinary research and model the effects of COVID-19 in Oklahoma to plan effective mitigation efforts for the coronavirus and potential future pandemics. |

Flute professor uses CAS HAD Grant to record Vivian Fine album
|
Dr. Erin Murphy, a Greenwood School of Music associate professor, has released an album of flute music with the help of a College of Arts and Sciences HAD grant. The grant funded the creation of the album "Dreamscape: Chamber Music for Flute by Vivian Fine,” which contains six compositions spanning from 1930 to 1993. |

Dr. Roger Mailler appointed new head of Department of Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science recently selected Dr. Roger Mailler as its new department head following a national search. Mailler comes to OSU following faculty roles at the University of Tulsa and a program director role at the National Science Foundation. |
