Jayme Shelton, ’03 Finance, recently left the City of Moore as Public Information Officer/Marketing Specialist after five years to become the Communications Director for the Neighborhood Alliance of Central Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.

Neighborhood Alliance works to create safe, attractive, and healthy neighborhoods by empowering and educating citizens to become neighborhood leaders.

Sallisaw Author Releases Second Book
Marc Cullison, class of '69 and '75, announces the release of his second book, "The Other Vietnam War - A Helicopter Pilot's Life in Vietnam", published by Imzadi Publishing of Tulsa, OK. It is a memoir of his year as a helicopter pilot in the U. S. Army during his 1971 tour in Vietnam. HIs first book, "Where's The Ivy?", was released in 2011. Recently retired from teaching math and science at Connors State College, he has turned to writing. His website,, contains more information about him and his work.

Cecil Bearden retired after 30 years from the Engineering division of Oklahoma Water Resources Board in Feb 2007 and is now farming & cattle ranching in addition to owning his own Engineering consulting firm,That Dam Engineer LLC.

Ujiro joins Texas Children's Hospital
In 2014, Ujiro Okiomah joined Texas Children's Hospital, the largest children's hospital in the United States. I serve as the Center Practice Leader at The Center for Children and Women, where I lead over 20 staff and medical professionals to ensure commitment to optimal patient care. The Center for Children and Women is a patient and family-centered medical home developed as an innovative, comprehensive, and coordinated primary care practice.
