900 OSU Donors “Cowboy Up” for $66.8 Million

Wichita Family Donates $500,000

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State University announced Monday a $500,000 gift from the Fran Jabara Family Foundation to augment an existing professorship focused on entrepreneurship.  Once fully matched dollar-for-dollar by T. Boone Pickens’ $100 million chair match commitment, as well as the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, the gift will provide $2 million of impact in endowed funds.

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State University is tobacco free as of July 1, the start of a new breathe easy era for campus students, faculty, staff and visitors. Initially announced in summer 2007 and prompted by a Student Government Association recommendation, the ban on tobacco use is part of OSU’s efforts to become the healthiest campus in America.
