Our Benefactor for Philanthropy 2007 is Habitat for Humanity. This Philanthropy project is broken into two parts. The "Deck the House Competition" will be used to promote Habitat for Humanity and to help raise funds to go toward furnishing a Habitat house in the Stillwater area. Student groups with local sponsors will be constructing gingerbread houses with OSU themes. The houses will be on display in the Student Union Atrium from Wednesday, Oct. 10, to Tuesday, Oct. 16.

The other half of the philanthropy will consist of volunteer hours to assist habitat in their current projects. These current projects will help Habitat prepare for the construction of future houses or to assist in a current need with in the Stillwater Community.
