You Can Make A Difference!

The construction of the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center has been the most significant project ever undertaken by the OS Alumni Center Exterior

U Alumni Association. The center is the culmination of years of growth and planning, and stems from the need to recognize the importance of our alumni to the University's successes.

The Alumni Center has given our alumni their first visible "home" on campus. The center is located on Hester Street between the Student Union and Old Central, it provides the only location on campus dedicated to bringing alumni together with each other and with students, faculty and friends. The center includes a much-needed permanent home for the Emeriti Faculty and Staff Council. Additionally, it serves as a natural place for networking, for pre- and post-game events, outdoor ceremonies on the lawn near Old Central and more.

A Home Away From Home
Alumni visiting the OSU campus or Stillwater now have one place to make their visit successful: a place to make phone calls or hook up a laptop, rooms to meet with other alumni, or a place to gather with family members before sporting events. The center houses a number of meeting and conference rooms, lounges and refreshment areas, and a large banquet hall for special events. A central entrance and convenient parking makes it easy for alumni to find and use the center.

Rich in History and Tradition
Our alumni have made significant contributions to the proud history and traditions of OSU, but lack of space had made public acknowledgement of these contributions difficult. The new center is a "must see" for alumni, students and visitors to campus, including a room that provides a full history of the university with photographs, historical context and memorabilia from each era. It includes appropriate space to honor our Hall of Fame winners, Distinguished Alumni winners and top student award winners.

A Place for Future Alumni
Our students are the future of OSU and the OSU Alumni Association. The Alumni Association plays an active role in developing student leadership skills through such programs as the Student Alumni Board and the Homecoming Executive Committee, as well as providing thousands of dollars in student scholarships through chapter events and the OSU Legacy
program. The new center provides space for all of our student groups and services.

Space to Grow
The Alumni Association continues to expand its programs and create new ones to better serve our alumni. For example, the Alumni Association's web site now offers an online alumni directory, updated news, e-mail for life, and much more. The Alumni Center provides the needed resources to continue to respond to alumni needs, which will in turn lead to continued support of the University in the years to come.
