Alumni Center Seeks Student Events Asst.

The ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center currently has an opening for a Student Events Assistant.

Hours: Approximately 20 hours/week; may vary based on volume of business in the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center; working hours will be primarily during evenings and weekends, including football game days

Job Duties:

  • Perform physical setup and teardown of meeting space.
  • Manage events on site, trouble-shooting audiovisual difficulties, assisting groups with general problems, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Upon completion of events, lock up entire facility.
  • Promote good customer relations, service, and goodwill among those who use the services of the Alumni Center.
  • Attend weekly events meeting to discuss details of upcoming events.
  • Assist the Alumni Center Coordinator of Services and Director as instructed.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Customer service oriented (prefer some kind of customer service experience)
  • Flexible evening and weekend schedule
