OSU Begins Construction on Multimodal Facility

Orange Peel Canceled for 2007

Oklahoma State University’s annual Orange Peel event has been cancelled for 2007 after the Orange Peel student staff, working with Clear Channel, was unable to secure the level of musical headliner it sought.
 
“We have done everything in our power to find artists that fit within our budget and could guarantee the level of ticket sales necessary to make Orange Peel a success,” said Josh Neil, Orange Peel 2007 executive director.

OSU Announces Diversity Study Results

STILLWATER, Okla. -- The Oklahoma State University/A&M Board of Regents today heard findings and recommendations from the most comprehensive evaluation ever done of diversity efforts at OSU.

A yearlong process that sought input from OSU faculty, staff and students, and involved a site visit by an independent, national team of administrators and faculty, the self-study was the first phase of implementation of strategic plans for an ambitious diversity initiative for the entire OSU System.

Chapters Organize Events for Fall

Chapters Director Josh Pulver says that local events likes the ones listed below are a great way for alumni across the state and nation to come together and reconnect with the OSU family.  One new event this year is the Oklahoma City Chapter Family Zoo Day on Oct. 14 – an event that Pulver says is great for the entire family.
