OSU Jazz Festival Features Tito Carrillo

STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oklahoma State University Jazz Festival will feature the performance of jazz trumpeter Tito Carrillo on April 5 in Stillwater.
 
The concert, which is open to the public, is at 8 p.m. on April 5 at the Seretean Center for the Performing Arts in Stillwater.

Kelsey WilliamsSTILLWATER, Okla. - A Stillwater resident is the second Oklahoma State University student notified this week that he has been selected to receive a prestigious international scholarship.   

Kelsey Williams is one of 50 American students to be awarded an Oxford Clarendon Press Scholarship that provides full tuition and fees for American graduate students at Oxford University. The scholarship also includes a stipend for living and miscellaneous expenses.

STILLWATER, Okla. - KOSU is launching a new program schedule to meet the changing needs of its listening audience.  Phase one of The New KOSU begins Monday, March 31 with the addition of several public radio news programs, as well the return of Friday and Saturday night jazz.  The second phase of The New KOSU, which will launch May 10, will feature several program additions to the station’s Saturday morning and afternoon lineup.

Hargis to Become President This Month

Oklahoma Gov. Brad Henry signed House Bill 2297 Thursday at the State Capitol, which will allow Burns Hargis to assume the presidency at OSU this month.  House Bill 2297 reduces the amount of time a former regent must wait before going to work for a university from 12 months to six months.
